Resistance Story Lab (RSL) is a creative and critical space dedicated to exploring storytelling as a transformative tool for cultural resistance, inclusive social development, policy innovation, and sustainable futures.

What We Stand For

1. Cultural Resistance

We honor ancestral wisdom, indigenous traditions, and grassroots activism—while critically confronting systems of colonialism, patriarchy, and ecological harm.

2. Narrative Sovereignty

Every community has the right to own and tell their stories—in their own voices, on their own terms. We resist extractive storytelling by supporting self-representation and community-led platforms.

3. Sustainability & Justice

Our work centers on climate justice, regenerative storytelling, and decolonised development—grounded in care for people and the planet.

4. Collaboration & Accessibility

RSL is a space for open, inclusive, applied and participatory storytelling. We prioritise multilingual resources, open-source tools, and community-centered learning.

5. Imagination as Strategy

We treat imagination as a radical tool for change—not escapism. Through speculative storytelling and creative foresight, we explore bold new paths to liberation and systemic transformation.
